Jason brings 18 years of digital retail leadership to 180Commerce. Over his career, Jason has built and managed teams responsible for all aspects of e-commerce including operations, technology, marketing and merchandising. These teams have consistently delivered profitable revenue growth of 25 to 150% per year.
Prior to 180Commerce Jason was COO of ShoeMetro, the largest global marketplace seller of footwear and accessories. He lead company operations during a period of rapid growth, culminating in the successful acquisition of ShoeMetro by DSW, Inc. in 2016. During his tenure revenues tripled, the number of online sales channels quadrupled, and distribution capacity grew tenfold to build a scalable foundation for continued growth. In 2015 ShoeMetro shipped over 2M shoes to customers in 75 countries.
Jason has also held key leadership roles with two Internet Retailer “Top 300” websites, serving as Director of Digital Marketing for Petco and Vice President Operations for DrJays.com. At Petco, Jason was responsible for digital marketing programs that drove online revenue growth of $60M over a 3-year period. As a founding employee of DrJays.com, Jason spent 7 years leading company operations as sales grew from $1M to over $80M annually.
After hours Jason is focused on his amazing wife and 2 active sons and enjoys surfing, camping, and banging on the drums.
Peter Kearns is an ex-Amazon Marketplace leader who managed new seller recruiting and strategic FBA for the consumables categories for nearly four years. He is an expert on Amazon policy and brand strategy and he has worked with hundreds of sellers ranging from IR-500 businesses and small home-based operations to large worldwide brands and start-ups.
During his time at Amazon he collaborated with sellers and brand owners to help them successfully launch on the Amazon marketplace generating more than $300 million (and counting) in gross merchant sales.
Peter is more than an Amazon seller expert. He also has an extensive marketing and retail background. He’s worked for companies like Discovery Channel, J. Crew, Coach and Banana Republic.

VP Merchandising and Strategy
Christian has almost 20 years of experience in the e-commerce and retail space. He has been responsible for building merchandising and operations teams, developing marketing strategies and implementing technology. His ability to see the implications of the numerous contact points of implementing a strategy enables him to develop unique processes for each business.
Christian was the first employee/co-owner of Backcountry.com and was instrumental in creating the online leader in outdoor retail, wearing nearly every hat in the organization and pioneering the daily deal sites Steepandcheap and WhiskeyMilitia. He developed and implemented marketing and merchandising strategies that were unseen in the outdoor sector. Christian developed the Jans.com portfolio of online entities and omni-channel strategy while organizing and revamping their internal data structure which helped initiate a 100% growth in five years.
With his experience and understanding of the current brand landscape of wholesale, online and marketplaces he is able to create a path that minimizes channel conflict and raises brand perception for all of 180Commerce’s partners.
In his spare time he’s skiing with his son, biking, running, surfing, camping and working on his cabin in the mountains.
Nelson leads 180Commerce operations, overseeing partner onboarding, content and data governance, logistics, customer service, and technical integrations. Prior to 180Commerce Nelson was a progressive leader at ShoeMetro, a global online retail leader of shoes and accessories with revenue over $80M in 2015. Positions at ShoeMetro included Receiving Lead, Logistics Coordinator, Retail Manager, Operations Manager, and eventually Director of Operations overseeing 8 departments and +250 associates in 2 states.
Highlights at ShoeMetro included planning and design for a 600,000 sq. ft. modern fulfillment center in Nashville, TN; 2 million units shipped worldwide in a year, attaining ebay’s coveted ETRS for best in class customer service, and carrier negotiations to save $1.3 million to the bottom line over 2 years.
Prior to ShoeMetro Nelson flew single prop planes and instructed on dual turboprop aircraft, but now spends most of his time helping 180 partners reach new heights!
Sr. Director, Marketplaces
With ten years of e-commerce experience, Marina has worked on both the platform and vendor sides in e-commerce Marketplace. In recent years she has developed and implemented processes to leverage marketplace specific business opportunities such as FBA, Seller Fulfilled Prime, local Same Day Shipping among others.
Marina began her career at Buy.com, now Rakuten.com, as a Merchandising Coordinator and moved into a Senior Sales & Merchandising Manager role – leading the account management team responsible for growing marketplace sellers’ business in the Fashion, Beauty, and Consumables categories. After five years at Rakuten she joined the SWI Group, as Director of Marketplaces. In this role she managed sales and advertising initiatives, integrations, as well as assessment and implementation of new business opportunities with domestic and international marketplaces.
At 180Commerce Marina’s professional background serves as an excellent base for evaluating our partners current business and which initiatives to focus on immediately – while mapping out other opportunities as their marketplace business grows and new opportunities become available.
In her free time Marina enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
Data-driven, results focused and with a passion for developing new business opportunities, Kyra oversaw digital marketing initiatives for ShoeMetro.com before signing on with 180Commerce. Her focused approach increased traffic and customer base contributing to consistent growth rates for ShoeMetro.com year over year.
Kyra brings over 8 years of experience in the digital commerce space and has led teams in the marketing, creative and technical arenas helping to improve on site experience and branding.
When she’s not focused on optimizing revenue driving initiatives you can find Kyra on the ski slopes, sipping a fine scotch (she’s refined like that) or camping somewhere in the great wide wilderness.
Courtney is known around the 180Commerce office as the Content Wizard, using her knowledge to conjure up great product listings. In addition to her data wizardry, she provides enchanting customer service and support for FBA order processing.
Before joining the team at 180Commerce, Courtney was the Product Management Lead for ShoeMetro. She was responsible for building out new product categories and content, as well as ensuring accurate representation of products on all marketplaces. She brings 5 years’ worth of e-commerce knowledge to the table, from operations to customer service to content.
When she’s not working her magic, she can be found with her nose in a book or a bowl of ramen.
